## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FLIGHT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS PARKED IN THE HOLDING AREA FOR RUNWAY 19 WHILE WAITING FOR THEIR DEPARTURE CLEARANCE AS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ APPROACHED.

EXPECTING TO DEPART AFTER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, THE CREW OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ PULLED INTO THE HOLDING AREA AND POSITIONED THE AIRCRAFT BEHIND/NEXT TO THE PARKED ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AIRCRAFT. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS THEN RE-SEQUENCED BY AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TO DEPART FIRST AND BEGAN TO TURN RIGHT TO EXIT THE HOLDING AREA AND TAXI TO RUNWAY 19 FOR DEPARTURE.

WHILE MAKING THE RIGHT TURN, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS TOO CLOSE TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND THE LEFT WINGLET STRUCK THE RIGHT WINGTIP OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE THE WINGLET OF THE CRJ.

## Other aircraft in the event

- N422YX, Embraer ERJ 170-200LR: [Incident 20250410004012I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20250410004012I)

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
