## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WITNESSES REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT MADE TWO LOW-ALTITUDE PASSES OVER THE PILOT'S PROPERTY. ON THE THIRD PASS, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK POWERLINES WHICH EXTENDED ACROSS A RAVINE. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY CRASHED INTO THE WOODED RAVINE BELOW THE POWERLINES. GPS DATA AND WITNESS MARKS ON THE POWERLINES, TREES, AND AIRCRAFT CONFIRM THIS SEQUENCE OF EVENTS. A POST-ACCIDENT EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT FOUND NO PRE-IMPACT ANOMALIES THAT WOULD HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THIS ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25FA151](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25FA151), Apr 10, 2025: Aeronca 7AC (N83952), Cape Fair, MO, substantial damage, 1 fatal, investigation ongoing

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
