## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED HE COPIED HIS IFR CLEARANCE TO FTW AT 1819Z. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ REQUESTED TAXI FROM THE RAMP TO RUNWAY 22 AT 1821Z. AT 1824Z, A PHONE CALL FROM BLUEGRASS AIRPORT OPERATIONS INFORMING THE TOWER THEY HAD BEEN INFORMED THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED INTO THE GRASS AS THEY WERE LEAVING THEIR PARKING SPOT AND DAMAGED ONE OF THE MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE INFORMATION WAS PASSED TO THE PILOT AT 1825Z WHEN THEY WERE ON TAXIWAY CHARLIE. THE PILOT ELECTED TO RETURN TO THE RAMP AND INSPECT THE DAMAGE WHICH WAS CONFIRMED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
