## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 2, 2025 ON A ROUTINE TRAINING FLIGHT, THE CREW, CONSISTING OF A FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT PILOT, HAD BEEN PRACTICING LANDINGS FOR A STUDENT PILOT. ON THE THIRD APPROACH TO LAND THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR NOTED A LONGER FLARE THAN NORMAL WHICH WAS THOUGHT TO BE DUE TO THE SOFT FIELD LANDING TECHNIQUE APPLIED. UPON TOUCHDOWN THE PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY AND WAS SUBSEQUENTLY DAMAGED. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ONTO THE RUNWAY AND THE CREW SECURED THE AIRCRAFT BEFORE EXITING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
