## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT INITIATED HIS TAKEOFF RUN, APPLIED FULL RIGHT RUDDER TO MOVE OVER TO THE RIGHT TO CREATE ADEQUATE LATERAL SPACING BETWEEN HIS AIRCRAFT AND DHC-3 OTTER. THE PILOT REPORTED HE GOT CAUGHT IN A RUT IN THE SNOW WHICH PULLED HIM TO THE LEFT, AND ALTHOUGH HE ATTEMPTED TO ABORT TAKEOFF THE LEFT WING OF DHC-2 BEAVER STRUCK THE OUTBOARD TRAILING EDGE OF THE DHC-3 OTTER'S RIGHT WING.

## Other aircraft in the event

- N929KT, Dehavilland DHC-3: no report for this aircraft; [N929KT](https://openairdocs.org/aircraft/N929KT) is registered now

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
