## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CONDUCTING AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS, THE AIRCRAFT STUCK A SET OF TRANSMISION POWER LINES. THREE POWER LINES DAMAGED THE PROP, WINDSHIELD FRAME, HORIZONTAL STABILIZER, AND ELEVATOR RESULTING IN AN EMERGENCY LANDING IN A GRASS FIELD. AS THE AIRPLANE ROLLED OUT TO A STOP, THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED TO THE LEFT DAMAGING THE MAIN LANDING GEAR AND LEFT WING. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST APPROXIMATELY 920 YARDS NORTH OF THE POINT OF WIRE IMPACT, AT A HEADING OF APPROXIMATELY 180°.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA191](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA191), Jun 2, 2025: Air Tractor AT-401 (N60057), Hamlet, NE, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain clearance from the power lines during low altitude maneuvering.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
