## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 6/2/2025, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ OPERATING AS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SFO) - INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IND) ENCOUNTERED A FLOCK OF BIRDS DURING TAKE-OFF. SEEING NO ENGINE OR FLIGHT PERFORMANCE ISSUES, THE FLIGHT CREW ELECTED TO CONTINUE TO IND. UPON ARRIVING, THE FLIGHT CREW OBSERVED DAMAGE TO THE RH LEADING EDGE, SLAT 5. THE SLAT WAS PUNCTURED ALONG WITH THE ASSOCIATED BLEED AIR TUBING. NO EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE FLIGHT LANDED SAFELY. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
