## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS NEWLY BUILT, SECOND FLIGHT. PILOT WATCHED A ZENITH VIDEO ON FACTORY METHOD FOR TAKEOFF. IT WAS SUGESTED TO PULL STICK SLIGHTLY AFT OF NEUTRAL AND ADD PARTIAL POWER. FOLLOWING THE MANUFACTURER SUGGESTION, PLANE LIFTED OFF TO SLOW AND WING DROPPED (STALLED), AIRCRAFT DEPARTED LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY AND INPACTED BRUSH.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA25LA219](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA25LA219), Jun 5, 2025: Fred L Wellman CH 750 Cruzer (N75FW), Medina, OH, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain control of the airplane during takeoff, which resulted in a runway excursion.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
