## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 7, 2025 AT APPROXIMATELY 1530 LOCAL TIME, A LANCAIR 235 EXPERIMENTAL AMATEUR BUILT AIRCRAFT WAS ON APPROACH TO PAWHUSKA MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (H76) RUNWAY 17. DURING THE APPROACH, THE PILOT ACTUATED THE GEAR DOWN SWITCH AND PROCEEDED TO LAND ON THE RUNWAY WHERE THE PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY AND THE AIRCRAFT PERFORMED A GEAR UP LANDING. THE GEAR UP LANDING RESULTED IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT LATER FOUND THAT THE COPILOT INSTRUMENT PANEL HYDRAULIC GEAR PUMP SWITCH WAS OFF, WHICH PREVENTED THE GEAR FROM EXTENDING WHEN SELECTED TO THE DOWN POSITION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA201](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA201), Jun 7, 2025: Lancair 235 (N25DB), Pawhuska, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to properly configure the airplane for landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
