## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE PRACTICING TOUCH AND GOES AT X26 SPECIFICALLY PRACTICING POWER OFF 180'S. AFTER AN ATTEMPT WHERE SP PERFORMED A FORWARD SLIP INCORRECTLY AND GAINED EXTRA ENERGY AND AIRSPEED SP CALLED A GO AROUND. AIRCRAFT STAYED IN THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AND SET UP FOR ANOTHER POWER OFF 180. ON FINAL SP FELT HIGH AND ELECTED TO DO ANOTHER FORWARD SLIP. IP PROMPTED TO KEEP THE NOSE UP ON SO AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT BUILD EXCESS ENERGY. WHILE INITIATING THE FORWARD SLIP AND MAINTAINING 65 -70KTS THE AIRCRAFT MAINTAINED ALTITUDE BETTER THEN EXPECTED. PILOT SLOWED AIRCRAFT TO ABOUT 55KTS AND MAINTAINED A NORMAL FORWARD SLIP DESCENT RATE UNTIL RUNWAY THRESHOLD. AFTER THE THRESHOLD PILOT BEGAN TO SLOW AIRCRAFT BELOW 55KTS MAINTAINING NORMAL SINK RATE FOR A FORWARD SLIP AND AT THIS PITCH ATTITUDE. REACHING ABOUT 30FT OVER THE RUNWAY IP STARTED TO RECOGNIZE AN EXCESSIVE SINK RATE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP AND IP CALLED TO LET THE NOSE DOWN TO AVOID A STALL. AT THAT POINT THE PLANE HAD INCREASED IN SINK RATE EVEN MORE AND IP WAS NOT ABLE TO POSITIVELY EXCHANGE CONTROLS BEFORE TOUCHDOWN AND THE PLANE ENTERED ACOORDINATED STALL ONTO THE RUNWAY TOUCHING DOWN ON BOTH MAIN WHEELS HARD FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE WHEEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
