## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A FLIGHT, THE PILOT WAS ON HIS WAY BACK TO GRAND JUNCTION REGIONAL AIRPORT AND WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 11 BEHIND ANOTHER AIRCRAFT. DURING THE LANDING APPROACH THE AIRCRAFT LOST POWER AND COMMUNICATION. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT 1 MILE WEST OF THE INTENDED RUNWAY 11. DURING LANDING THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BARBED WIRE FENCE WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE. 2 PERSONS WERE ON BOARD AND SUFFERED NO INJURIES DURING THE LANDING. NTSB DEEMED AS MINOR DAMAGE AND DID NOT ASSIGN A REPORT ID NUMBER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
