## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 17, 2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 1600 EASTERN, AN AIRCRAFT WAS DEPARTING MUHAMMAD ALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KSDF) ENROUTE TO ADDISON AIRPORT (KADS) WHEN A BIRD IMPACTED THE LEFT WING OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOTS REPORTED THE ISSUE TO AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL (ATC) AND WERE APPROVED FOR A RETURN TO LANDING. DURING THE LANDING THERE WERE NO FURTHER ISSUES. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE LEFT-WING SLAT APPROXIMATELY ¾ DOWN THE WING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
