## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING INITIAL TAKEOFF ACCELERATION PILOT WAS DISTRACTED BY HIS RIGHT WINDOW NOT BEING CLOSED COMPLETLY. PILOT TOOK HIS RIGHT HAND OFF THE CONTROLS TO CLOSE THE WINDOW IN A LIGHT CROSS WIND ENVIRONMENT AND THE AIRCRAFT TURNED SHARPLY DOING A "GROUND LOOP". AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP WITH IT'S MAIN WHEELS OFF THE RUNWAY. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO TAXI OUT OF THE DIRT AND CONTACTED HIS PROPELLER WITH THE GROUND AND DAMAGED THE RIGHT MAIN WHEEL. AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIED BACK TO HIS HANGAR WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
