## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN WAS ON APPROACH TO A GRASS FIELD. AIRMAN STATED THAT HE WAS A LITTLE FAST AND HAD LANDED ABOUT 1/3 OF THE WAY DOWN THE STRIP THEN HIT A HIGH SPOT ABOUT 1/2 WAY DOWN THE STRIP WHICH CAUSED HIM TO BE AIRBORNE AGAIN. AT THAT POINT THE STRIP HAD A SIGNIFIGENT DOWNSLOPE. THE AIRMAN STATED THAT AT THAT POINT IT WAS TOO LATE TO EXECUTE A GO AROUND AND APPLIED MAXIMUM BRAKING TO CAUSE THE AIRCRATF TO FLIP OVER AT THE VERY END OF THE GRASS STRIP BEFORE CROSSING A ROAD AND ENTERING A TREELINE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA25LA252](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA25LA252), Jun 29, 2025: Cessna 150 (N150TP), Pelzer, SC, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain proper airspeed while landing on a short, down-sloping turf runway, which resulted in a noseover.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
