## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PIC ARRIVED AT HIS HANGAR AND FOUND AN AIRCRAFT PARKED IN FRONT OF HIS. THE PIC MOVED THE PLANE PARKED IN FRONT, AND PRE-FLIGHTED HIS AIRCRAFT INSIDE THE HANGER. AFTER PREFLIGHT WAS COMPLETE, THE PIC MOVED HIS AIRCRAFT OUT OF THE HANGER AND MOVED THE OTHER AIRCRAFT BACK INSIDE AND PROCEEDED TO CLOSE THE HANGER. THE PIC STATED HE DID NOT NOTICE ANYTHING ABNORMAL DURING THE RUNUP, TAXI AND TAKE OFF ROLL. SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF AT APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET AGL SOMETHING STRUCK THE PROPELLER. THE PIC CONTACTED TOWER, CANCELED IFR AND REQUESTED A LOW APPROACH FOR THE TOWER TO INSPECT. THE PIC THEN LANDED AND TAXIED BACK WITHOUT ISSUE. DURING A POST LANDING INSPECTION THE PIC DISCOVERED HE HAD LEFT THE TOWBAR ON THE AIRCRAFT, IT STRUCK THE PROPELLER AND BROKE OFF RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE TOWBAR WAS LATER RECOVERED NEAR THE END OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
