## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE INSTRUCTOR WAS CONDUCTING TRAINING ON A PPL STUDENT. AFTER DOING TAKE-OFFS AND LANDINGS ON A LARGER RUNWAY AT ANOTHER AIRPORT, THE INSTRUCTOR LET THE STUDENT ATTEMPT A LANDING ON THE SHORTER AND NARROWER RUNWAY. THE INSTRUCTOR RELATED THAT THE STUDENT BOUNCED THE LANDING, THE INSTRUCTOR THEN TOOK CONTROL AND ADDED FULL POWER. THE AIRCRAFT BEING CONFIGURED AND TRIMMED FOR LANDING,WITH FULL FLAPS, AND A HIGH ANGLE OF ATTACK ENTERED A LEFT TURN AND THE LEFT WING STALLED. THE LEFT WING CONTACTED THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT CARTWHEELED INTO THE TREES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Probable cause: The student pilot’s improper landing flare and the flight instructor’s delayed remedial action during landing that resulted in a loss of control and impact with terrain.
