## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE FAA WAS NOTIFIED THAT AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OBSERVED AN AIRCRAFT SQUAWKING 7600. THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT RECEIVING FLIGHT FOLLOWING. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN LOSING ALTITUDE AND EVENTUALLY LOST RADAR CONTACT. A HELICOPTER SPOTTED A DOWNED AIRCRAFT AT A LOCATION OTHER THAN AN AIRPORT. THE PILOT LATER INDICATED THAT THE VACUUM PUMP HAD FAILED AND ATTEMPTED AN EMERGENCY LANDING. UPON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO STOP THE ROLLOUT BEFORE STRIKING A FENCE WITH THE RIGHT WINGTIP. THE PILOT STATED THEY WERE EXPERIENCING RADIO ISSUES FOR WHICH THEY SQUAWKED 7600, A VACUUM SYSTEM FAILURE, AND AN AIRSPEED INDICATION THAT HAD GONE TO ZERO. THE PILOT STATED THAT FLIGHT VISIBILITY WAS CLEAR, AND THAT THE AIRCRAFT’S ENGINE WAS RUNNING NORMALLY WITH SUFFICIENT FUEL RESERVES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
