## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG ON RUNWAY WITH SLIGHT TAILWIND WHEN THE PILOT DECIDED TO GO-A-ROUND. AIRCRAFT EXITED THE END OF RUNWAY TAKING OUT RUNWAY MARKER LIGHT AND FENCE. AIRCRAFT BECAME AIRBORNE AGAIN BRIEFLY BEFORE IMPACTING THE ROOF OF A RESIDENCE IN THE EXTENDED OVERUN END OF THE RUNWAY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR25LA234](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR25LA234), Jul 31, 2025: Cessna 182Q (N759NB), Cashmere, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain clearance from obstacles during an aborted landing, while flying in tailwind conditions. Contributing to the accident was the high density altitude weather condition.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
