## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A LOCAL TRAINING FLIGHT, A BIRD STRIKE OCCURRED DURING THE THIRD LANDING ON RUNWAY 25L. SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, A BIRD WAS OBSERVED ON THE RUNWAY. AS THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED, THE BIRD TOOK FLIGHT AND VEERED TOWARD THE RIGHT WING. A DISTINCT IMPACT SOUND WAS HEARD. THE AIRCRAFT SUBSEQUENTLY NOTIFIED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL (ATC) OF THE INCIDENT AND EXITED THE RUNWAY VIA THE NEAREST TAXIWAY. A VISUAL INSPECTION REVEALED A SMALL DING ON THE RIGHT WING. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS OBSERVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
