## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 10TH, 2025, AT 1529 MDT, A BE-36 AIRCRAFT, INCURRED AN INCIDENT WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 15 AT NORTHERN COLORADO REGIONAL AIRPORT (KFNL). THE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE PIC BECAME DISTRACTED DURING THE APPROACH DUE TO NOT HAVING A LANDING GEAR DOWN INDICATION. THE PILOT EXITED THE PATTERN TO RUN CHECKLIST AND WORK ON THE ISSUE. THE LANDING GEAR WAS IN FACT DOWN, BUT THE GEAR LIGHTS WERE DIM AND THE PILOT DID NOT REALIZE THIS. ONCE THE PILOT REALIZED THE GEAR WAS DOWN, HE SETUP FOR A FULL STOP LANDING ON RUNWAY 15. DURING THIS PROCESS THE FUEL SELECTOR WAS ON THE LEFT TANK AND WAS NEVER SWITCHED TO THE RIGHT TANK WHICH HAD ADEQUATE FUEL TO COMPLETE THE LANDING. ON SHORT FINAL THE ENGINE QUIT DUE TO FUEL STARVATION AND THE PIC LANDED JUST SHORT OF THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD. THIS RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTING A RUNWAY LIGHT WHICH CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE FLAP. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OUT ONTO THE RUNWAY WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DAMAGE OR ISSUE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
