## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT AROUND 1046 ON AUGUST 13, 2025, THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ON UNIMPROVED RUNWAY AT EVERITT AIRPORT IN PARKER CO WHEN THE RIGHT WHEEL ASSEMBLY BROKE OFF THE FIXED LANDING GEAR AND THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER ON ITS BACK. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO CRAWL OUT OF THE WRECKAGE BUT STILL REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA328](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA328), Aug 13, 2025: Vans RV14 (N29JM), Parker, CO, substantial damage. Probable cause: Separation of the right landing gear wheel assembly during landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
