## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT AT APPROX 12:30PM. THE PLAN WAS TO DO (3) LANDINGS AND TAKEOFFS WITH THE INSTRUCTOR AND IF THOSE WERE EXECUTED PROPERLY AND WE FELT COMFORTABLE I WAS GOING TO DO (3) TAKE OFFS AND LANDINGS SOLO. WE DID THE (3) LANDINGS TOGETHER WITHOUT ANY ISSUE OR CONCERN, I WAS ABLE TO EXECUTE THE FIRST TWO SOLO WITHOUT ISSUE. ON THE THIRD SETUP I SENT UP A NORMAL APPROACH AND FOLLOWED THE GLIDE PATH DOWN. CROSSED THE THRESHOLD @ AROUND 82-84KNOTS WITH FULL FLAPS UNTIL I GOT OVER THE NUMBERS I WENT POWER IDLE. THE PLANE BEGAN TO FLOAT AS NORMALLY WOULD AND I STARTED GETTING PUSHED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY, TRIED TO CORRECT WITH THE RUDDER AND I COULDN'T MAINTAIN THE CENTER LINE AND FELT IT WOULD BE BEST TO GO AROUND. I INDUCED FULL POWER, PULLED UP ON THE SIDE STICK AND THE PLANE SHOT TO THE LEFT AND STRUCK THE FIELD ON THE LEFT SIDE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA324](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA324), Aug 13, 2025: Cirrus Design SR22 (N654CD), Cleburne, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The student pilot’s failure to maintain airplane directional control during the approach and subsequent go-around.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
