## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IN A WRITTEN STATEMENT, THE PILOT DESCRIBED PERFORMING A WHEEL LANDING ON THE MAIN GEAR ON RUNWAY 02. AS THE AIRSPEED DECREASED, HE LOWERED THE TAILWHEEL, AND UPON ITS CONTACT WITH THE GROUND, HE FELT THE LEFT WING BEGIN TO DIP. HE ATTEMPTED A RIGHT AILERON CORRECTION BUT WAS UNABLE TO MAKE SUFFICIENT ADJUSTMENT. THE LEFT WING MADE CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY, PROMPTING HIM TO IMMEDIATELY APPLY FULL POWER AND ATTEMPT A GO-AROUND BY LIFTING THE TAIL OFF THE GROUND. HOWEVER, HE WAS UNABLE TO LIFT THE TAILWHEEL OR LEFT WING IN TIME, RESULTING IN THE AIRCRAFT VEERING OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT GEAR ASSEMBLY ENCOUNTERED ROUGH TERRAIN, ABRUPTLY SLOWING THE AIRCRAFT AND CAUSING IT TO FLIP OVER AND LAND UPSIDE DOWN. A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED DAMAGE, INCLUDING A BROKEN LOWER LEFT WING, A BENT LEFT MAIN GEAR ASSEMBLY, AND A BENT RUDDER. SIGNATURES FROM THE PROPELLER AND THE PILOT'S STATEMENT CONFIRMED THAT BOTH THE AIRCRAFT AND ENGINE WERE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR25LA258](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR25LA258), Aug 19, 2025: Boeing B75N1 (N14GC), Vacaville, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll with a quartering tailwind.

## Other reports on N14GC (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 20200122007619A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20200122007619A), Jan 22, 2020: Boeing B75N1 (N14GC), Vacaville, CA, Substantial damage. Aircraft left runway after touchdown and flipped upside down when main landing gear wheels stuck in the mud.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
