## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 20, 2025, THIS OFFICE WAS NOTIFIED BY THE REGIONAL OPERATIONS CENTER (ROC) ABOUT AN AIRCRAFT ACCIDENT THAT OCCURRED AROUND 08:30AM AT GROVE REGIONAL AIRPORT (KGMJ) IN GROVE, OK. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING TO THE NORTH APPROACHING RUNWAY 36 ON THE DESIGNATED GRASS STRIP JUST BETWEEN THE ASPHALT RUNWAY AND THE TAXIWAY. UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT PROCEEDED TO FLIP NOSE OVER AND LANDED UPSIDE DOWN APPROXIMATELY 45 FEET WEST FROM THE TAXI WAY. THE PHOTO EVIDENCE SHOWED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE LEFT-WING TIP, RIGHT STRUT, WIND SCREEN AND VERTICAL STABILIZER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA330](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA330), Aug 20, 2025: EXP Supercub (N633JC), Grove, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain elevator control during the landing, which resulted in a nose over.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
