## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THIS INCIDENT TO THE FAA AFTER IT OCCURRED. AT 8:33 PM LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT LANDED AT REID-HILLVIEW AIRPORT ON RUNWAY 31R. HE ROLLED OUT AND BEGAN HIS RIGHT TURN TO TAXIWAY Y3 ABOUT 30 FEET TOO EARLY FOR THE RECENTLY RECONFIGURED MARKINGS AND LIGHTING. HIS PROP TIP IMPACTED THE TAXIWAY LIGHT CLOSEST TO THE RUNWAY. GREEN PAINT ON GREY ASPHALT WITHOUT A WHITE OR YELLOW BORDER NOW DESIGNATES THE PAVED AREA AS ONE THAT SHOULD NOT BE ENTERED. THE PILOT MAKES THE CASE, USING AIM 2-3-2.B, 2-3-3 AND AC 150/5340-1M THAT THE LACK OF RUNWAY EDGE MARKING WHERE IT IS ADJACENT TO THE NEW GREEN-PAINTED AREAS CONTRIBUTED TO THIS INCIDENT AND WILL CONTINUE TO NOT GUIDE ARRIVING TRAFFIC ON RUNWAY 31R.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
