## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC REPORTED THAT WHILE LANDING ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ON RUNWAY 15 AT KASE, HIS AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A DOWNDRAFT. INTIALLY THERE WAS SLIGHT GAIN IN AIRSPEED, THEN A LOSS OF APPROXIMATELY 6 KNOTS, WHICH CAUSED THE STICK SHAKER SYSTEM TO ACTIVATE WHILE APPROACHING RUNWAY 15 THRESHOLD. THE PIC SAID HE HEARD A THUMP AND THEN TOUCHED DOWN APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET FROM THE THRESHOLD OF THE RUNWAY. AFTER TAXIING TO THE PARKING RAMP, THE RIGHT MAIN TIRE DEFLATED AND DISMOUNTED FROM THE RIM AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED. EVIDENCE CONFIRMED THAT DURING LANDING, THE RIGHT MLG TIRE HIT A THRESHOLD LIGHT. ADDITIOANLLY, A SECOND THRESHOLD LIGHT TO THE LEFT OF THE WAS ALSO DAMAGED; WHAT CAUSED THE DAMAGE IS UNCLEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
