## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN DEPARTED KYKM AIRPORT ON RUNWAY 27 FOR PATTERN WORK, TO WORK ON SHORT FIELD LANDINGS. ON THE SECOND TRAFFIC PATTERN; AIRMAN FAILED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR, CHECK THE GEAR-IN-THE-MIRROR, ENSURE LANDING GEAR DOWN LIGHT ILLUMINATION, OR RUN THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLISTS. AIRMAN LANDED ON RUNWAY 27 WITH THE LANDING GEAR-UP, AND THE GEAR SELECTOR IN THE UP-POSITION. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCAFT INCLUDE PROPELLER DAMAGE, FLAP TRAILING-EDGE DAMAGE TO THE INBOARD FLAPS, AND DAMAGE TO FLAP HINGES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
