## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROXIMATELY FOUR MILES OUT ON VISUAL APPROACH WHEN IT EXPERIENCED A BIRD STRIKE. THE BIRD INITIALLY STRUCK THE NOSE CONE CAMERA MOUNT, ONWARD TO THE WINDSHIELD, AND ON AND IN THE NUMBER TWO ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. NO INJURIES TO CREW OR PASSENGER WERE REPORTED. MAINTENANCE REPAIRED THE ENHANCED VISION SYSTEM ON THE NOSE RADOME AND RETURNED THE AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. NO SNARGE WAS RETAINED FOR SUBMISSION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
