## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN FLEW FROM KDEW (DEER PARK, WA) TO WN54 (ELLERPORT AIRPORT-NEWMAN LAKE, WA) FOR AN APPROXIMATE 20 MINUTE FLIGHT. PRIOR TO FLIGHT, THE PIC CHECKED THE FUEL, NOTING THAT IT WAS NOT FULL. AFTER A FLIGHT OVER THE FIELD, TO DETERMINE WIND, THE PIC FLEW LEFT TRAFFIC FOR RUNWAY 19. UPON TURNING BASE, THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT RESPOND TO THROTTLE MOVEMENTS. THE PILOT LANDED OFF AIRPORT IN A FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT FLEW THRU ONE FENCE, AND STOPPED ON ANOTHER BARB-WIRE FENCE/STEEL POSTS. MINOR AIRCRAFT DAMAGE INCLUDE: PUNCTURED METAL FROM UNDER THE FLOOR ON PAX-SIDE NEAR GEAR ASSEMBLY, A FEW AREAS OF TORN FABRIC, PAINT SCRAPING ON LANDING GEAR STRUTS, RT AILERON TIP DAMAGE, AND TORN FABRIC UNDER LEFT WING. MINIMAL FUEL WAS LOCATED ONBOARD THE AIRCRAFT, MOST LIKELY UNUSABLE FUEL. LOSS OF POWER DUE TO FUEL EXHAUSTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
