## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE ACCIDENT AIRCRAFT REPORTED AN OPEN DOOR SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF AND REQUESTED TO RETURN TO THE AIRPORT TO SECURE THE DOOR. THE PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND AND ENTERED THE RIGHT DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 35L.

WHILE ON FINAL APPROACH, RECORDED DATA INDICATES THE AIRCRAFT MAINTAINED AN AIRSPEED BETWEEN 75 AND 85 KNOTS. DURING THE LANDING SEQUENCE, THE AIRCRAFT’S LEFT WING DROPPED AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE GROUND, FOLLOWED SHORTLY BY THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE IMPACT RESULTED IN A POST-CRASH FIRE.

THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET FROM THE END OF RUNWAY 35L. IN ADDITION TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE AIRCRAFT, AIRPORT NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT IN THE VICINITY SUSTAINED DAMAGE DUE TO THE IMPACT AND SUBSEQUENT FIRE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
