## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CESSNA 310R DEPARTED KDCY WITH A "ROBOTOW" TOWBAR ATTACHED TO THE NOSE GEAR. PILOT RAISED THE LANDING GEAR AND NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT "FLEW FUNNY". WHEN THE LANDING GEAR WAS LOWERED, THE AIRCRAFT STILL "FLEW FUNNY", NOW REQUIRING A SIGNIFICANT SLIP TO MAINTAIN DIRECTION. PILOT NOTATED LANDING GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATIONS ON ALL THREE LANDING GEAR, HOWEVER, REQUESTED THE TOWER AT KEVV TO PERFORM A VISUAL TO ENSURE ALL THREE LANDING GEAR WERE DOWN. HE THEN PROCEEDED TO LAND AT KEVV WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. HOWEVER, THE TOWBAR ATTACHMENT DURING FLIGHT RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR TIRE AND DOORS, AND RIGHT ENGINE AND PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
