## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC EXECUTED A PLANNED TOUCH AND GO LANDING. WHILE ROLLING DOWN RNWY 17, PIC INADVERTENLY RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR INSTEAD OF RETRACTING THE FLAPS. ALL 3 LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, CAUSING A PROPELLER STRIKE, SUDDEN ENGINE STOPPAGE, AND DAMAGE TO UNDERSIDE OF FUSELAGE, LANDING GEAR & DOORS, AND BUCKLING OF THE LEFT FORWARD WING SPAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR26LA016](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR26LA016), Oct 12, 2025: Beech S35 (N35S), Olympia, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s inadvertent retraction of the landing gear after landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
