## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON OCTOBER 17, 2025, THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF N8321M SUBMITTED A WRITTEN STATEMENT VIA EMAIL DESCRIBING AN INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED WHILE APPROACHING FOR LANDING AT AUBURN, CA AIRPORT (AUN). THE PIC REPORTED THAT THE APPROACH WAS CONDUCTED TOO HIGH, RESULTING IN A LONG LANDING. DESPITE EFFORTS TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT, THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT RUNWAY REMAINING TO BRING IT TO A COMPLETE STOP. CONSEQUENTLY, THE AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE RUNWAY, COMING TO A FULL STOP AT THE AIRPORT BOUNDARY AFTER STRIKING THE WIRE FENCE WITH THE PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
