## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE CONDUCTING A LANDING, THE PILOT OBSERVED ANOTHER AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY AND INITIATED A GO-AROUND. DURING THE APPLICATION OF POWER, THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE RUNWAY, BOUNCED, AND SUBSEQUENTLY LANDED ON THE RUNWAY NOSE WHEEL, RESULTING IN A NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY.

POST-EVENT INSPECTION REVEALED MINOR PROPELLER TIP CURLING; SCUFFING AND DEFORMATION OF THE LOWER ENGINE COWLING AND LANDING GEAR DOORS; AND FAILURE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR TRUNNION LINKAGES AND SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY. NO FIRE OCCURRED, NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED, AND NO SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS NOTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
