## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS OFFICE WAS MADE AWARE OF THIS INCIDENT BY WAY OF AN ANONYMOUS SAFETY HOTLINE ON OCTOBER 30TH, 2025.

THE PILOT IN COMMAND (PIC) OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, AN AEROPRAKT A32 LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT, ATTEMPTED TO DEPART FROM RUNWAY 12 AT POPLAR GROVE AIRPORT (C77). FOLLOWING THE PRE-FLIGHT CHECKS AND RUN-UP, THE PIC TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT ONTO THE RUNWAY AND APPLIED TAKEOFF POWER. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY BEGAN VEERING TO THE RIGHT, AND THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. CONSEQUENTLY, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND ONTO THE ADJACENT GRASS AREA. THE INCIDENT RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, INCLUDING A PROPELLER STRIKE, NOSE WHEEL DAMAGE, AND DAMAGE TO THE OUTBOARD LEFT WING. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT IS CONSISTANT WITH LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. THERE WAS ONE PERSON ON BOARD, AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. AFTER THE INCIDENT, THE PIC, ASSISTED BY A LOCAL INDIVIDUAL FROM THE AIRPORT, TOWED THE AIRCRAFT BACK TO THE PILOT'S PERSONAL HANGAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
