## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

LANDING RUNWAY 16 AT FHR, THE WINDS WERE 140/16 KTS. THE LEFT CROSSWIND COMPONENT WAS APPROXIMATLEY 7-8 KTS. THE PILOT EXECUTED A NORMAL CROSSWIND LANDING. TOUCHING DOWN ON THE LEFT MAIN GEAR FIRST, THEN THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR. AS THE AIRCRAFT WEIGHT SETTLED ON THE RIGHT MAIN, THE GEAR FAILED AND COLLAPSED. THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO ROTATE AROUND THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR, AND IN DOING SO DID A 180 DEGREE TURN AND CAME TO A STOP ON THE RUNWY. THE ONLY OCCUPANT, THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
