## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ A CESSNA 210 BEING OPERATED UNDER PART 91 BY THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND PILOT IN COMMAND LANDED WITH THE GEAR RETRACTED AT KRAS PORT ARANSAS AIRPORT.

THIS INSPECTOR RECEIVED THE CALL ON NOVEMBER 24, 2025. DURING THE RECORDED CONVERSATION WITH THE PILOT, HE STATED THAT HE HAD GOTTEN DISTRACTED BY LOOKING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION FOR THE AIRPORT WHEN HE NOTICED IT WAS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION FROM WHERE HE WAS LOOKING AND FAILED/FORGOT TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
