## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT NARRATIVE:

"ON NOVEMBER 25, 2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 1205 LOCAL TIME, I WAS TAXIING AIRCRAFT ON THE

GENERAL AVIATION RAMP AT BANGOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AFTER COMPLETING A SOLO TRAINING FLIGHT. I WAS

PROCEEDING TO PARK IN FRONT OF THE MAINE INSTRUMENT FLIGHT (MIF) HANGAR.

WHILE TAXIING PAST HANGAR 6, I VISUALLY CONFIRMED ADEQUATE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE AIRCRAFT’S WINGS

AND THE STRUCTURE, ESTIMATING NO LESS THAN FIVE FEET OF CLEARANCE ON EACH SIDE. I CONTINUED AT A SLOW

TAXI SPEED OF ONLY A FEW KNOTS.

AS THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED HANGAR 7, MY VISUAL SCAN SHIFTED FORWARD TOWARD HANGAR 8. MY INTENDED

TAXI REFERENCE POINT WAS THE “T” LINE PAINTED ON THE RAMP DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HANGAR 8. TO ALIGN THE

AIRCRAFT WITH THIS MARKING, I APPLIED LEFT RUDDER INPUT TO BEGIN A SHALLOW YAW TOWARD THE T-LINE.

ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AS THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO YAW LEFT, I HEARD AND FELT THE RIGHT WINGTIP MAKE CONTACT

WITH THE CORNER OF HANGAR 7. I STOPPED THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY AND PERFORMED THE ENGINE SHUTDOWN

CHECKLIST. AFTER SECURING THE AIRCRAFT, I NOTIFIED APPROPRIATE PERSONNEL.

NO INJURIES OCCURRED, AND THE ONLY KNOWN DAMAGE WAS TO THE AIRCRAFT’S RIGHT WINGTIP."

BASED ON INVESTIGATION AT SITE OF INCIDENT IIC CONCURS WITH PILOT STATEMENT OF EVENTS. PILOT LOST SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WHILE TAXIING BACK TO HANGAR AFTER FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
