## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A PRIVATE PILOT WAS RETURNING TO THE AIRPORT. ON LANDING, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A HARD LANDING AND THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED. THE PILOT ADDED POWER TO INITIATE A GO AROUND. DURING THE ATTEMPTED GO AROUND, THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT, LANDING IN THE GRASS AND CONTINUED ACROSS A TAXIWAY, HIT A RETAINING WALL OF A DITCH, AND CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS.

POST FLIGHT ASSESSMENT REVEALED DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT INCLUDING PROPELLER BLADES, LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR, NOSE LANDING GEAR, RIGHT FLAP, RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE, AND A CRACK ON THE LOWER FUSELAGE AFT OF THE FIREWALL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA26LA064](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA26LA064), Dec 7, 2025: Cirrus Design SR22 (N19SK), Blue Bell, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain airplane control of the airplane during an aborted landing, resulting in a runway excursion and collision with terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
