## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE CREW WAS PERFORMING A PART 91 REPOSITION FLIGHT INTO MIAMI- OPA LOCKA AIRPORT WHEN THEY STRUCK A BIRD WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 9L CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE INBOARD WING LEADING EDGE. AIRCRAFT INSPECTED FOR FERRY PERMIT, NO DAMAGE TO PROPELLOR OR ENGINE INGESTION. AIRCRAFT WAS FOUND SAFE FOR INTENDED FERRY FLIGHT. NO INJURIES REPORTED. AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED BACK TO HOME BASE (PSM) FOR MINOR LEFTHAND INBOARD LEADING-EDGE REPAIRS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
