## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND ELECTRICALLY. THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED USING THE EMERGENCY GEAR HANDLE UNTIL THREE GREEN LIGHTS WERE OBTAINED. GEAR POSITION WAS VERIFIED BY THE TOWER. DURING THE LANDING ROLLOUT, THE THREE GREEN GEAR LIGHTS EXTINGUISHED FOLLOWED BY THE COLLAPSE OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR. THE INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT THE LANDING GEAR INDICATING SWITCHES WERE IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED AND THIS DISCREPANCY LED THE PILOT TO ASSUME THAT HE HAD FULLY EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA26LA129](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA26LA129), Jan 13, 2026: Raytheon G58 (N58GL), Savannah, GA, substantial damage, investigation ongoing

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
