## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE APPROACH FOR LANDING, THE ATP PILOT NOTICED VARIABLE WIND GUSTS. DURING THE LANDING ROLLOUT PHASE, THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A GUST FROM THE LEFT, CAUSING A DRIFT TO THE RIGHT OF THE CENTERLINE. THE PILOT APPLIED LEFT RUDDER AND MAXIMUM BRAKING. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED TO THE LEFT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY, CAUSING THE GEAR TO COLLAPSE. NEITHER THE PILOTS NOR PASSENGER SUSTAINED ANY INJURIES.

AIRCRAFT RECORDS WERE REVIEWED AND FOUND TO HAVE PROPER CERTIFICATION AND CURRENT INSPECTION STATUS. PILOT RECORDS WERE REVIEWED AND FOUND TO HAVE THE CORRECT CERTIFICATION.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
