## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT DEPARTED ON A CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT WITH TWO 4.4-HOUR LEGS AND WAS ON FINAL APPROACH AT THE DESTINATION AIRPORT. HE TOUCHED DOWN PAST THE MIDPOINT OF THE 5,000-FOOT RUNWAY IN AN AIRCRAFT THAT REQUIRES 1,200 FEET OF ROLLOUT DISTANCE WITH NORMAL BREAKING. CONCERNED WITH POSSIBLE ICY RUNWAY CONDITIONS, HE APPLIED CONSERVATIVE BRAKES. THE AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE RUNWAY AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK AN END-OF-RUNWAY LIGHT, ROLLED FURTHER OFF THE RUNWAY AND THE PROPELLER STUCK THREE APPROACH LIGHTS BEFORE STOPPING 200 FEET PAST THE END OF THE RUNWAY. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT CONSISTED OF PROPELLER DAMAGE AND LOWER ENGINE COWLING DEBRIS DAMAGE FROM THE STRUCK LIGHTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
