## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CALLED THE AIRPORT WITH POSSIBLE GEAR ISSUES. LOCAL CONTROLLERS HAD THE AIRCRAFT DO LOW APPROACHES SO TOWER COULD LOOK AT THE GEAR. TOWER GAVE HIM A CALL THAT THE GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND LOCKED. ALONG WITH TOWER A PILOT FROM ANOTHER AIRCRAFT SAID THE GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND LOCKED. PILOT INFORMED TOWER HE WANTED TO LAND WITHOUT DECLARING EMERGENCY. ONCE THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN THE GEAR COLLAPSED. NO INJURIES TO FLIGHT CREW AND MINOR DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
