## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 5TH, 2026 AIRCRAFT TBM-700 DEPARTED KTME AT 1210 CST ENROUTE TO KDKR. THE WEATHER WAS CLEAR WITH NO PRECIPITATION IN THE AREA FOR THE FLIGHT DURATION. THE WEATHER AT THE ARRIVING AIRPORT (KDKR) WAS ALSO CLEAR WITH WINDS AT THE EXPECTED 1240 CST ARRIVAL TIME AT 9 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 16 MPH FROM THE SSW.

THE AIRCRAFT ARRIVED AT APPROACH TO KDKR AT 1236 CST. THE FLIGHT WAS NORMAL TO THIS POINT WITH NO MECHANICAL ISSUES. THE AIRCRAFT HAD A NORMAL APPROACH WITH FULL FLAPS AND GEAR DOWN. UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 02, THE AIRCRAFT DECENDED TO 4 FEET ABOVE THE RUNWAY AT WHICH POINT THE PILOT PULLED POWER AND WAS ABOUT TO TOUCH DOWN.

AT THIS POINT THE AIRCRAFT UNEXPECTEDLY ROSE BACK UP IN ALTITUDE TO APPROXIMATELY 30-40 FEET.

THE PILOT MADE THE DECISION TO PERFORM A GO AROUND. THE PILOT ADDED FULL POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO CLIMB WITH A NOSE UP ATTITUDE. THE FLAPS WERE STILL IN THE FULLY EXTENDED POSITION AND THE LANDING GEAR WAS STILL IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION ON NOT IN GO AROUND CONFIGURATION.

BEFORE THE PILOT COULD RETRACT THE LANDING GEAR AND RETRACT THE FLAPS, THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT IN THE NOSE HIGH AND SLOW SPEED CONFIGURATION AND THE STALL WARNING SOUNDED.

THE AIRCRAFT WENT INTO A LEFT-WING STALL / SPIN AND IMPACTED THE GROUND 225 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY.

THE AIRCRAFT BECAME ENGULFED IN FLAMES AND WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO ESCAPE WITH MINOR INJURIES.

A PHYSICAL INSPECTION OF THE WRECKAGE WAS ACCOMPLISHED ON-SITE BY THE FAA IIC AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ALL FLIGHT CONTROL CABLES WERE INTACT AND THE ENGINE WAS FUNCTIONING AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF ANY MECHANICAL FAILURE. IT WAS PHYSICALLY VERIFIED THAT THE FLAPS WERE STILL FULLY EXTENDED, THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED AND THE ELEVATOR WAS TRIMMED NOSE UP AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT AS WELL AS THE PROPELLER POSITION INDICATED THE ENGINE WAS STILL MAKING POWER.
