## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ENGAGED IN AERIAL APPLICATION OPERATIONS OVER THE SOUTHERN FIELDS OF CLOVELLY FARMS, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF TIME AWARENESS AND DID NOT ADEQUATELY MONITOR FUEL STATUS. AFTER RECOGNIZING THAT THE FUEL QUANTITY WAS CRITICALLY LOW, THE PILOT TERMINATED SPRAYING OPERATIONS AND PROCEEDED TOWARD THE CLOVELLY FARMS SEAPLANE BASE. DURING THE BASE LEG OF THE APPROACH, THE ENGINE LOST POWER DUE TO FUEL STARVATION. THE PILOT PERFORMED A FORCED LANDING INTO A CONFINED CLEARING SURROUNDED BY TREES.
