## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 8, 2026 AT APPROXIMATELY 1300 LOCAL TIME, AN AERONCA CHAMPION 7FC AIRCRAFT DEPARTED TULSA RIVERSIDE AIRPORT (KRVS) AND FLEW TO OKMULGEE REGIONAL AIRPORT (KOKM). AFTER ARRIVING IN THE AIRSPACE AT KOKM, A PERSON ON THE GROUND AT KOKM NOTICED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS MISSING THE LEFT WHEEL AND RELAYED THIS INFORMATION TO THE PILOT OF THE AERONCA CHAMPION 7FC. THE PILOT THEN VERIFIED VISUALLY THAT THE LEFT WHEEL WAS MISSING AND DECIDED TO RETURN TO KRVS. THE PILOT HAD KRVS TOWER CONFIRM THAT THE LEFT WHEEL WAS MISSING, AND REQUESTED LANDING ON RUNWAY 19L. THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT AT KRVS ON RUNWAY 19L AT APPROXIMATELY 1344 LOCAL TIME CAUSING MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE LEFT BRAKE ASSEMBLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
