## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 3/10/2026 AT APPROXIMATELY 1055, SCAN EAGLE WAS LAUNCHED TO CONDUCT A ROUTINE FLIGHT CREW TRAINING FLIGHT. APPROXIMATELY 12 MIN. AFTER LAUNCH, THE SCAN EAGLE EXPERIENCED A PROPULSION FAILURE. THE FLIGHT CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY TO ATC AND EXECUTED THE REQUIRED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNABLE TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE RECOVERY AREA BEFORE IMPACTING THE GROUND AND COMING TO REST IN A FIELD TO THE NORTH EAST OF THE AIRFIELD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
