ON MARCH 23, 2026, ABOUT 1221 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME, A ROBINSON R44 RAVEN I HELICOPTER WAS DESTROYED WHEN IT WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT NEAR BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND THE PILOT RECEIVING INSTRUCTION WERE FATALLY INJURED. THE HELICOPTER WAS OPERATED AS A TITLE 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 141 INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT.
