## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DUE TO THE WINDS THE PIC DECIDED TO CHANGE FROM USING RUNWAY 5 TO RUNWAY 32. PIC LEVELED OFF AT 1900 FT, RETRACTED GEAR AND ENTERED MIDFIELD ENTRY FOR DOWNWIND TO 32 & CONTINUED IN A DESCENT TO 1300 FT. PIC INDICATED DOWNWIND WAS A BIT FAST DUE TO THE TAILWIND COMPONENT. ON DOWNWIND PRIOR TO TURNING BASE TO 32, PIC ADDED THE NEXT NOTCH OF FLAPS AND LOWERED THE GEAR (DOES NOT REMEMBER LOWERING THE GEAR) TO SLOW DOWN TO THE 2ND SETTING OF FLAPS AIR SPEED, PIC TURNED FINAL AND INDICATED SPEED WAS OK AND WAS A LITTLE HIGH. ON SHORT FINAL PIC ADDED FULL FLAPS.

PIC PULLED THE POWER BACK TO IDLE BECAUSE THE AIRCRAFT WAS FASTER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THE AIRCRAFT THEN SETTLED ONTO THE RUNWAY WITH GEAR IN UP POSITION.

PIC DOES NOT REMEMBER IF THE LANDING GEAR WAS LOWERED DURING THE SWITCHING AND POSITIONING FOR RUNWAY 32.

NO INJURIES, PIC NOTIFIED AIRPORT MANAGER OF A GEAR UP LANDING

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
